I have to add too that the hypocrisy here is a bit hard to take. America has a long history of racism, and for commentators to even to suggest that this is a thing of the past is in itself laughable. There are many countries around the world, and nationalities living in America, who would suggest America has it in for them in a seriously racist way, and this rough list of hate groups in America tends to contradict the holier than thou attitude they are currently trying to portray. <a href="http://www.splcenter.org/intel/map/hate.jsp" rel="nofollow">http://www.splcenter.org/intel/map/hate.jsp </a> But the point is, the skit wasn't racist. It wasn't very good, but that's not the issue. We have become so politically correct, that the very act of being politically correct could also be construed as being racist.
